Double Trouble Trail Challenge - 2 Races |

Dedication to--These races are dedicated to my dad, Bill Childers, now deceased. He was a retired CMSGT with 28 years in the Air Force, proudly served. He passed away in March of 2009. These races are dedicated to his memory and are as close to the date of his death possible. Some people have questioned the date of these races, but never asked the reason for the date. So there it is for those that care to ask. |

Free shoe insert or teeth whitening! |

The first 100 entrants into both races can choose either a shoe insert or teeth whitening by Dr. Chris Perry at Perry Dental. Tell us which one you want and if it is the shoe insert, let us know your shoe size. Dont get mixed up or you will have a shoe insert to clean your teeth. |

Course Info: |
Paved trails and unpaved trails; hilly and challenging. This is a tough course, but it is fun. The hardest steepest parts of the park are not included in this race. When you are off the paved trails you will be running on some rocky areas, some areas are covered in cedar-very smooth and nice. This race is recommended for trail experts and for those that are trying to get used to running on trails. Run this race and get ready for the next trail race the following week. |

Salado Creek Park you must park at Paesano’s. The race will start at Paesano's, and the eats will be at Paesanos after the race. After parking at Paesano’s you will walk about ¼ mile to the start. Paesano’s 1604 is at 3622 Paesano’s Parkway, San Antonio, Texas or go to Paesano’s website. |

Paesanos Buffet Included!
Paesanos Buffet is included in the entry. Here is the layout for the Paesanos Buffet Pasta Station – Penne Alfredo(penne pasta tossed in a creamy parmesan sauce.) Or Rigatoni Bolognaise (Rigatoni pasta tossed in our house made meat sauce) Bread Station - Country Italian Bread served with Hummus, Olives and Olive Oil Beverage – Includes 2 beers per runner with Drink Tickets – Iced tea or water. Not a runner, the buffet is $15 or pay as you go off the menu. |

Race Results - Texas Endurance Trail Runs, Huntsville TX
Run or walk in beautiful Huntsville State Park. Course map, packet pickup info, host hotel and other details to follow. Please note: 10 hour time limit for the 50k.
Fees: Late fee after November 21! 50k (long run) fee is $55.00 per person; after November 21, $65.00. For the 12.5-Mile (short run), fee is $45 per person; after November 21, $55.00. Come run (or walk!) in the park!
NOTICE: Online registration ends Thursday at 11:59 a.m! Hurry sign up now! But, IF you miss the online registration, you can still sign up at the host hotel or Saturday morning at the park. Online registration is $65 for 50K and $45 for 12.5 mile. Race Day registration will be $85 for the 50k and $65 for the 12.5 mile loop payable by cash or check only.

Your 1/2 marathon training event is here! This is the primer before the San Antonio Rock and Roll Marathon. Come out and see the new City of San Antonio Linear Parkway. Leon Creek Greenway is awesome. There will be plenty of Aid stations with Hammer’s Heed and water at each Aid Stations. This is San Antonio's largest native half marathon of the season. If you are not ready to run the half come out and enjoy the park and run the 5k. Texas Med Clinic will be there to make this event special, memorable and fun. Post-race will have all the things you are used to seeing and more. South of the Border food and music for the post race. Don't miss out on the Early Bird Fee (ends 9/16/09)!
Entry fees prior to 16 September: 1/2 Marathon = $45; 5k = $25. After 16 September: 1/2 Marathon = $60; 5k = $30.
Packet pickup and onsite registration is: October 7-9 at Soler's Sports: 2589 Jackson Keller (210-366-3701) Store hours are from 10am to 7pm. Race morning onsite packet pickup and registration at the pavilion from 6:30am-7:45am.
